For nearly 40 years, Revolution Fibreglass, based in the outer Melbourne suburb of Bayswater, has worked to build its reputation on production excellence, service and quality. In 2006, Robert Miller bought the business with a vision to deliver the highest standards of composite design and manufacture.

From humble beginnings with only 2 staff members in 2006, today Revolution Fibreglass has 9 staff and a turnover that is increasing at a speed faster than the vehicles which wear their carbon fibre bodies. Revolution provides to a growing number of funny cars and door slammers competing in Australia and the USA.

2011 was a milestone year for Revolution Fibreglass, with the company doubling its production over 2010 and industry stalwart Shane Robertson joining Robert as a Director of the business.
Shane oversees all aspects of the manufacturing process including quality control and delivery, whilst Robert focuses on marketing, new business, administration and customer service.

Since opening their doors following last year’s Christmas/New Year break, Robert confirmed that Revolution Fibreglass has doubled its production and orders over the same period in 2011.

It is also Robert and Shane’s aspiration to incorporate an industry focussed training facility to showcase the new and exciting applications of the technology to fellow composites manufacturers and higher education providers.

“The opportunities for composites in Australia is immense, with an almost infinite array of applications, especially with the focus on green, renewable and sustainable products, services and activities.” – Robert Miller

“We are confident that Revolution Fibreglass’s new technology and increased capacity will secure growing orders for more lightweight, durable and high strength solutions for high tech industries including auto, transport, aerospace and building to name just a few,” – Shane Robertson
